LCU helped organize Listening Sessions at  Waukegan's Whittier Elementary. School staff and members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, which is across the street from the school, met with over 50 parents to identify the issues most important to them and find potential parent leaders. This has allowed St. Paul and Whittier Elementary to further strengthen their relationship to tackle community issues together.
